Hello

My name is Don Dougan. I am a sculptor who works primarily in stone and mixed media. I started making sculpture in 1972, and carved my first stone sculpture in 1973. I live just north of Atlanta and wear a lot of figurative hats and a few literal ones (as the hair is getting kinda sparse). I teach, repair antique sculpture, design and curate museum exhibits (mostly historical artifacts), do custom framing of pictures & make custom sculpture bases, but most of all I enjoy working in my (small) studio wherever my intuition leads me. I have done some collaborative pieces with other artists in the past and I look forward to this venture . . . however, I do not use smileys. <grin>
