I was unsure about how you guys wanted to go about showing pics of our elements to each other.  My first element is complete.  It is two pieces, that may or may not be attatched by one of its next creators.  I started a new gallery and put them in there.  Let me know if that is how we want to be doing this.
any other questions or comments... ?

Well......I've just added some pix of my first element to my Album "Evolutionary paths....." in the Group 1 gallery.
And I'll add a lil tease here. Well........that didn't work LOL........have to reduce the size and try later. TA DAAAAAAAAAA....  Smiley

but anywhooooooooo. My "seed" element is the bottom tier of, what could become an 8 tier mobile. There are a number of ways that I can think of this to "Grow", but I don't want to influence anyone.  Suffice it to say that not everyone HAS to create a new "tier" .....there is another "option" for placement of "elements". If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

Now that the "seed" is "planted" I can't wait to see what it grows into.

Bill,
Your gallery pics look fine. The software should resize them on upload, but it's sometimes better not to make it work too hard.

The piece looks good, I can't wait to see how it all comes together.

thanks Michael. It took me a few "trys" to get it right.......but .......I think I got it now. By not make it work so hard..........do you mean that I should have reduced the image size first?

And I'm just going to UPS it to Melissa. Melissa.........could you email me the address that I should send this to? I still have a lil finish work to do with it.....but should be ready to ship by the end of this week at the latest. I know I was supposed to meet up with Mike Sluder for the exchange.......but hopefully he can just ship his piece to me also. Seems so much more efficient in the early stages of these sculptures.

Really looking forward to seeing photos of everyone's FIRST components. Looks like Group 1 is leading the way here on the site. I'm proud of US...........wwwoooooooohoooooo

WELL............ I'm proud to say that our group now has all nine "seed" elements documented in our Group 1 Album. And I'll be adding my modification to M. Sluder's piece as soon as I take a photo.

here's one before I weld them together. My addition is a stainless steel Double Helix.
