Wooooooooooohoooooooo.......... well I just had the pleasure of meeting Mike Sluder. He drove up to my shop to drop off his "element" and pick up my "element", to take back to Melissa. I had no idea what I was in for, my mind is still racing. What a nice guy, and very talented. I enjoyed seeing some of his work, can't wait to make a trip down to the foundry that he and Melissa work at, in Sanford. I'm a "molten metal" addict.......and THEY got ALL the toys. I'm gonna have to add more later..........I'm to excited to think ....at the moment.

And I'd like to add a photo of Mike's element to OUR album........but I'll wait until I get permission.

Sorry Greg,

I should have posted that the trip was planned in advance. Again.....communication......is KEY. I'll make a point of putting as much info out here as I have. I'm not even sure who I exchange with next, but will make a point to post it here when I find out. I'm looking forward to meeting you. It was great to meet Mike and I'm looking forward to meeting everyone in our group eventually.
I've downloaded the Teamspeex software.......wondering how many others from our group have done the same?Huh?Huh?Huh?Huh?? It seems to work great. I think it can also play a major role in our communication. Maybe we can schedule a few "conference chats" on there in the near future.

sorry I dropped the ball.......... part of the learning curve.

Unless Melissa changed something, I think you are exchanging with the same person each time, then swapping work between the two "sub groups" and continuing the exchange pattern as before.

Basically, I think you will always exchange with the same two people using the "simple method"

Go ahead and post a picture of the element you got.

I was supposed to give my element to Melissa........but Mike offered to make the drive and he was to give his piece to me, so we did an Efficient  Exchange LOL. So it worked out great that he took mine to Melissa. I wasn't sure if the exchanges stayed the same.
I posted two photos of Mike's element in the Group 1 album
. I'm jazzed....got all kinds of ideas.
It'll be great to watch these "seed elements" evolve. I guess we'll get to see everyone's next week.

Hello team, I've adjusted my seed sculpture in accord with Michael's comments. I'm positing it here for further comments from group 1.  I will be passing the piece on to Ken this weekend.

Lookin good Jesse. Don't forget to add the pix to the group 1 album in the Gallery. Once you open group 1's album.......use the "ADD ALBUM" option and Put your name on it. That's also a great place to add any thoughts on your piece.

Looks good, I think the removal of the few smaller elements will give others some space to place things. I will be interested to see how it pans out.

call me if you need anything I can help with at school.

Michael, I don't seem to be able to post photos. The gallery does not recognize my user name and password.  When I use the recover function it does not send me any info.

Thanks,
